Healing in a squad
Healing Herb is used more frequently.
Vital Herb is more powerful but needs a spark and has longer cooldown.
Falling Petals should be used before and during an attack on tank.
The main heal (yellow) Break In the Clouds is how you heal other players.
If there is time and need, use Comforting Mist. This is the slowest of the heals.

Attack mode :
1. healing herb (optional)
2. Nature's Vengeance and Absorb Soul in a macro (this is the main mystic attack)
repeat
Bigger mob ?
1. healing herb or punishing sting
2. attack
Bigger ?
1. Vital Herb (optional)
2. stunning plant (befuddling creeper) or the other healing herb
3. attack
1. healing herb (optional)

Mystics have 4 pets
1. Devil (the main one)
2. Storm Mistress
3. Salvation
4. Cragglord
I would forget Cragglord in long quests. It needs 2 sparks and last 20 seconds. If you like, skip it completely
Storm Mistress ? slower than devil. (this MIGHT be a good thing)
Salvation ? could save your neck.
Learn the spells for Devil first, Salvation second if you are in squad.

Salvation Pet is great in squads where there are not enough healers.
Salvation Pet is fantastic in FC XP room on tank.
Storm Mistress is more powerful than Devil pet.
Devil Pet has stun. Good to use in the middle of an attack.
Clear Thoughts is great lvl 79 skill. Forget the other one.
Get your apothecary skills up.

1. Sakyamuni's Light
2. Glaives of Divinity
3. Aquadash
4. Sensoid Emptiness

2. Flame Boots of Intensity
Mystics need to find their balance of HP, MP and Magic Attack.
At most, 99 % of mystics do not need STR over 50. Same thing for VIT. 30 is more effective. Put your points into MAG. Forget DEX.
Join squads for safe grinding.
